OBJECTIVE

Bet on the dice. The simplest bet, the Pass Line, wins with the shooter. You can also bet Don’t Pass (against) or the one-roll Field.

PASS LINE

  • Place a Pass bet, then roll. This first roll is the “come-out”.
  • Come-out 7 or 11 wins right away; 2, 3, or 12 loses.
  • Any other number becomes the “point”. Keep rolling: roll the point again to win, but a 7 first loses.

OTHER BETS

  • Don’t Pass is the opposite of Pass (12 on the come-out is a push).
  • Field is a one-roll bet on the next total: 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 pay 1:1; 2 and 12 pay 2:1; 5, 6, 7, 8 lose.
  • Pass and Don’t Pass can only be placed on a come-out roll; the Field can be placed before any roll.
