Solitaire

OBJECTIVE

Move all 52 cards onto the four foundation piles in the top-right. Each foundation is built up in one suit, starting with the Ace and finishing with the King.

THE TABLE

• The seven columns in the middle are where you sort cards. Only the bottom, face-up card of each column can be played at first.
• The face-down pile top-left is the stock; the space beside it is the waste, where drawn cards land face up.
• The four empty slots top-right are the foundations you are filling.

HOW TO PLAY

• In the columns, stack cards downward in alternating colours: a red 7 goes on a black 8, a black 6 on a red 7, and so on.
• Drag a card, with any tidy run sitting on it, onto another column that fits or up to a foundation.
• Tap the stock to turn cards to the waste. When the stock empties, tap the gap to recycle the waste and go again.
• Only a King, or a run led by a King, can move into an empty column.
• Double-click a card to send it straight to its foundation when it fits. Once no cards are face-down, the board finishes itself.
